College: The Next Step

College. Where many of the biggest decisions are made. College is full of opportunities, chances to take on the world and change it. I, for one, am going to take these chances. I am going to march right up to this next step in my life, and I'm going to jump in head first. I'm going to learn how to control take control of my life, and I'm going to make the best of it.

I'm going to make decisions that I've never dreamed of making, and I'm going to pursue the smallest of possibilities. I am going to learn how to deal with this new world, and I'm going to make a difference in it.

I am going to make my mark.




I'm not going to let people push me around any longer. I'm going to take charge, and I'm going to change someone's life. In my life up until this point I have learn what I deserve and what I don't deserve. I know what I deserve now, and I am going to make sure I get what I want. I am not trying to brag or anything of the sort, I am just announcing to the world that I have gained a better understanding of what a person deserves in a world full of people who don't always understand. I have found myself, and I will continue to find myself when I take this next big step in my life.

College will change me for the better (hopefully). Just know that I will never give up. I won't give up because it gets hard, and I refuse to give up just because someone told me to. If anything, that will help me push forward even further. I welcome challenges.

So world, Bring it on.

Dare To Let Go

Cellular Devices and Social Media. Why do these two programs/objects consume so much of our time? Why do we let them? What's the point? I've mentioned in past posts about how important it is to recognize the beauty of the world outside of our devices. And I also know you probably don't believe me, but it's true. The thing with devices is this: When we are so involved in our texts, instagram and facebook posts we are  making it impossible to fully embrace the beauty of the world. We let the amount of "likes" and "followers" dictate what we do with our time. But the thing is when we put down our phones we can experience the beauty, not just see it. Take A Deep Breath

Stress isn't easy, that's for sure. But when you look for the bright side in it all, it creates space to let you breathe. Yes, take a deep breath. Don't worry about the future, worry about you. In this moment. Not about what's going to happen if you don't understand this problem or don't finish this assignment right this second. Just breathe IN, and breathe OUT. That's all it takes.
